On the 25th March we held our first virtual event in partnership with Genius Within, business psychologist’s Gina Wong and Emily Morris led an informative event targeted to our member’s senior managers and HR managers to inform them on what is expected from employers within a workplace.

Gina and Emily both specialise in working with neurodiverse people, and individuals who suffer from mental illnesses and other challenges.They work to help people achieve their full potential and assist companies and employers in providing the best support to meet the needs of their employees.

Topics covered in the event include:

  • Hidden disabilities and neurodiversity

  • Why exclusion occurs

  • Legislation that prevents exclusion

  • Systemic inclusion

  • Workplace universal design
