Why did you get involved with IAA SC?
“One of my main reasons for joining our industry to begin with was to meet and learn from people around the world, being a part of the IAA SC enhances this further! The past couple of years have been so challenging and intense for everyone, to be able to be a part of a committee which gives back to people, adding fun and more ways to restore work-life-balance is absolutely something I’d love to be a part of! I am so looking forward to being more involved in upcoming events as well as further events to come.”
What’s the best thing about the SC?
“I started at the end of May [2022] this year so I am very new, however, everyone is already so lovely and fun, and do what they can to be involved and share ideas. We ultimately want the best for everyone too, so it’s great to be a part of this team! I am looking forward to meeting everyone involved and planning the best summer and beyond!”
What advice would you give to someone who was considering joining the committee?
“1000% – to meet many more talented and lovely people it’s great to be a part of this and to make an impact. Also to be a part of something aside from the usual day-to-day, to meet more people, learn more skills and the industry etc”
How are you finding your time on the committee?
“As I say, early doors but I already love the IAA events, and am enjoying learning more about the organisation and work that goes on behind the scenes. We regularly meet and share what we can, I’m excited to work alongside everyone and be a part of this team!”
