This year’s VIRTUAL PAC
The Class of 2020
PAC or as some refer to it, the ‘university of advertising’ is normally an annual, three day residential course held in the inspiring setting of Oxford University. It is acknowledged as one of the highlights of the year in the advertising industry and is an established and highly regarded international media training course. The aim is to stimulate debate, discussion and communication whilst developing a greater understanding of the advertising process – from the client, agency and media owner perspective.
2020 was different and the class of 2020, in the 30 years of PAC’s existence, will go down in history and never be forgotten!
Given the unprecedented and extraordinary set of circumstances, we, like many other organisations, chose to pivot to a virtual event!
With over 100+ delegates from a wide range of backgrounds, some from companies from across the industry such as Publishers, Agencies, Ad Techs and clients, others aspiring, rising young marketing talent, the course offered it’s usual unique & rare opportunity to exchange your experiences with one another. But via the wonderful interactive online interface of ‘Remo’.
We had a jam-packed agenda with a variety of sessions that aimed to deliver all the very best elements of PAC from thought-provoking talks and discussions on current industry hot topics, a creative challenge, a mini mock brief, career guidance, mentoring and networking opportunities.
Though it was a great shame that we couldn’t be together in-person, the highlight reel hopefully shows the fun and vibrancy of this year’s virtual iteration and we’re expecting to see everyone back in Oxford next year!
