Meet the Mentors

Dedicated in our mission to help you navigate your career in the advertising and media industry, our mentoring events bring together some of the industry’s most notable figures as Mentors, who offer their time and experience to offer invaluable guidance to the next generation of leaders, in a fast-paced hour and a half of conversation.

  • This is a chance to tackle some of the key challenges that you might face in your career such as:
  • How to manage your internal and external relationships remotely
  • How to stay disciplined and demonstrate your value to your team
  • Tips in finding your next role, networking, reaching out
  • Growing your personal brand
  • Forging the career you want and how they did theirs

HOW IT WILL RUN

1. Arrival at the venue, Financial Times offices, by 5pm

2. We’ll kick off with a welcome from our sponsors, the IAA and some mentor introductions

3. The event will have at least 8 mentors, and mentees will move around the room in short sessions with each

4. The mentors essentially stay sat down at tables and multiple mentees will be able to sit with each of them for 10 minute session. At the end of the 10 minutes, the whistle sounds, and mentees move around the room to meet with the next mentor, this will last about 90 mins

5. Once all the sessions have finished we will stick around for some drinks and final networking

6. We will aim to leave the building around 8pm
